Gretl is a collection of utilities in Spanish for econometric analysis. The packet is built in C programming language, and offers you an enormous variety of estimates based on minimum squares: minimum squares in two stages, non-lineal minimum squares, etc.



Students and teachers of mathematics will know how to get the best out of this program. Through it you can do operations like Dickey-Fuller increased contrasts, Chow structural stability contrasts, vectoral autoregression and ARMA model estimates. As you can see, it is especially designed for advanced mathematical uses.



All the results of these models can be saved to LaTeX format files (as tables or as equations). Gretl includes its own script programming language, it reads its own data files in XML or CSV formats, those of Excel and Gnumeric worksheets, BOX1, its own binary database format and also RATS4 databases.
